A Short Film
When Ally returns to her parents' place after a break-up, she meets the Monster under her bed from childhood. Over one anxiety-ridden night she returns to her childhood to defend her 6-year-old self from him, and any sense of self she has left.
As we grow up, the monsters under our bed become the monsters in our head.
Ally's journey, though fantastical, is one I hope a lot of us can relate to, and it was my goal to put the audience 100% in her experience, to reflect on the kind of monsters we deal with on a day-to-day basis.
